Let's get the standard description out of the way.  Simply stated, VOLT is a diverse group of students representing a broad cross-section of academic disciplines including business, construction, and engineering, focusing on the energy and power industry. 

But that doesn't tell you everything about WHO WE ARE.

We are your classmates that you have spent hours perfecting projects with.  We are the students who come from places as big as giant cities to as small as rural farms, and everywhere in between.  We are your friends that you have shared the great joys and crushing sorrows of life with.  We are the individuals who are passionate not only about our chosen professions, but also about using our skills and talents to leave the world just a little bit better than when we found it.
